The team behind Black Box Dessert Club put their minds first and set out to craft the most sustainable and healthy dessert brand we could; purely out of our love for all things sweet, beautiful, and good for the environment as well as our families. There is no room for preservatives, artificial flavoring or modified chemicals where we are concerned. We are dedicated to celebrating artisan craft, sustainability, supporting the local economy, giving back to the community and providing the highest quality gift boxes available.
We began by hitting the streets, searching the shops, farmer’s markets, tradeshows and craft fairs in and around New York and San Francisco, to find the best small-batch pastries, chocolates and confections. We sought after only the creme de la creme of artisans who use local, organic, fair trade and seasonal ingredients in their treats. Some of our artisans even work with their local farmers. We require that all treats be made with pure, natural ingredients- no preservatives, high fructose corn syrup, added colors, or hydrogenated oils are allowed in this club! And our artisans go so far as to even use recycled, reclaimed and reused materials in their packaging.
We get up close and personal with the artisans who crafted these fine products by hand. We taste each and every treat ourselves to make sure health doesn't sacrifice taste. We then hand select each item and arrange a luxurious gift box made just for you.
Our goal is that Black Box Dessert Club can be more than just a beautifully curated gift box of goodies, but that we can be a part of the change we wish to see in the world as Gandhi said, by focusing on quality, sustainability and community.
